Engine builders and machinists use the process of “CCing a cylinder head” to measure the volume of combustion chambers in the head. The purpose of this process is to ensure all combustion chambers in the engine are the same size and to help determine the compression ratio. However, not all cylinder heads, or engines for that matter, are of equal size. That’s why Powerhouse® has gone out of its way to ensure that the needs of the customer are met, by offering their Pro Head CC Kit in various sizes.
In addition to different sizes, Powerhouse® Pro Head CC Kits provide everything you need to properly CC cylinder head combustion chambers, intake and exhaust runners, intake manifolds, or cylinders. The precision glass burets are compatible with alcohol, parts washer, or any other solution one can use. With no math involved, the kit’s easy-to-read scales are marked off in .2cc increments (except the 250cc model) and actually read out the amount you have poured.
All kits, regardless of the size of the buret, include a precision glass buret with integral petcock, a stand and clamp assembly, a flat plexiglass plate to cover the combustion chamber and instructions on how to properly CC cylinder heads.

Replace old-fashioned degree wheel systems with an electronic instrument that precisely measures camshaft timing to within one-tenth of one degree in about half the time
The Powerhouse® Digital Precision Cam Degreeing System allows the serious engine builder to degree the camshaft of most domestic engines with extreme accuracy and in record time. This translates into greater precision measurements, more horsepower and torque and faster engine builds. The patented system utilizes an electronic encoder that enables the high-performance engine builder to calculate and display the intake centerline, in crankshaft degrees, to within one-tenth of a degree in about half the time required to accurately use a degree wheel.
After installation on the engine and proper setting of BTDC and ATDC timing positions, the Digital Precision Cam Degreeing System computer determines the exact location of the camshaft to within one-tenth of a degree, the most accurate device of its kind currently available. In addition, the system’s compact design allows the camshaft and timing gear to be completely accessible throughout the degreeing process.
The Powerhouse® Digital Precision Cam Degreeing System can be ordered as a “Base Kit” or a “Pro Kit.” The “Base Kit” includes the innovative electronic computer ‘brain” that uses advanced microprocessor technology to import the data and calculate camshaft, piston and crankshaft positions. This starter kit allows you to add your own piston dial and cam lobe indicators, and mounting hardware to have a fully functional kit. If you opt for the upgraded “Pro Kit”, you will receive a professional quality cam lobe indicator, piston dial indicator and all required mounting hardware (also sold individually), in addition to the electronic computer “brain”. Engine specific crank adapters are sold separately for Big and Small Block Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, Oldsmobile and Pontiacs.
